KnowledgeCrate Privacy Policy

KnowledgeCrate (“the app”) is operated by Cre84ever Media LLC. This policy describes what we collect and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account identifiers: your email address, internal user ID, and an encrypted password credential managed by our authentication provider.
• Your content: notes, Crates, tags, links, imported documents, attachments, photos and scanned documents, and voice recordings you choose to save.
• Device identifiers: push notification tokens and native device records used only for requested app notifications and account activity.
• Service diagnostics: request timestamps, server errors, security events, and limited device or browser information retained in infrastructure logs to operate and protect the service.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• KnowledgeCrate notes, imported notes, attachments, scans, and voice recordings are not sent to OpenAI.
• The Apple Notes importer runs locally and does not send imported note content to an AI service.

How we use and process data

We use account data to authenticate you, synchronize and back up your Crates, deliver features you request, send requested notifications, prevent abuse, and support the service. Supabase processes authentication, database records, and private file storage. Vercel hosts the application and processes requests and operational logs.

Data may be processed in the United States. Database access is protected with row-level security. Attachments and scans are kept in private storage and are served only after an authenticated authorization check.

Retention, export, and deletion

We keep your account content until you delete it or your account. You can download a ZIP backup containing open Markdown copies of notes plus your attachments and scans from the Account page. Deleting a note removes its database record and stored attachments and scans. Deleting your account from Account → Delete account removes your personal Crate records, stored files, and sign-in account. Team content that belongs to a shared organization is retained for that organization; your membership is removed. Limited security and hosting logs may remain for the providers' standard operational retention periods. Deletion is otherwise immediate and irreversible, subject to disaster-recovery backups that age out on the providers' normal schedules.

Children

KnowledgeCrate is not directed to children under 13.
